Return Policy

Uwald Creation offers hassle-free returns within 7 days of delivery for eligible items, refunded after a quick quality check. This Return Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions and applies to all Orders placed on uwaldcreation.com.

1. Return Eligibility Window

You may request a return within 7 days of the delivery date shown on your Order. Return requests raised after this window cannot be accepted, except where the Product is found to be defective and covered under applicable law. To be eligible, the item must be unused, unwashed, and in its original condition with all tags and packaging intact.

2. Eligible Return Reasons

  • Wrong item received (different from what was ordered)
  • Item received damaged or defective
  • Significant size mismatch from the size chart
  • Quality materially different from the Product description or images

We do not offer direct size or colour exchanges at this time — an approved return is refunded, and you are welcome to place a fresh Order for the correct size or item.

3. Non-Returnable Items

  • Items that have been worn, washed, or altered
  • Items returned without original tags, labels, and packaging
  • Items marked "Final Sale" or purchased during clearance, unless received damaged or defective
  • Innerwear, nightwear, and socks, for hygiene reasons
  • Items where the return request is raised after the 7-day window

4. Return Process

  1. Sign in to your Uwald Creation account and go to My Orders
  2. Select the delivered Order and click Request Return
  3. Choose your reason and upload photos if the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect
  4. Our team reviews the request, typically within 24 hours, and confirms eligibility
  5. Once approved, a reverse pickup is scheduled at your delivery address
  6. The item undergoes a quality check on receipt at our facility (see Section 5)
  7. On passing QC, your refund is processed as described in Section 6

5. Quality Check (QC)

Every returned item is inspected on arrival at our warehouse to confirm it is unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and returned with original tags and packaging. If an item fails QC, the return request will be rejected, and the item may be shipped back to you; no refund will be issued in this case.

6. Refund Method & Timeline

  • Prepaid (Razorpay) Orders are refunded to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of passing QC.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders are refunded via bank transfer — you will be asked to share your bank account details (account number and IFSC) when the return is approved.
  • You will receive an email/SMS notification once the refund is initiated, along with the expected credit timeline from your bank.

7. Damaged, Defective or Wrong Item

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please raise a return request within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging, so we can resolve it quickly. These cases are prioritised and do not attract any return shipping charge.

8. Cancelling Before Shipment

You can cancel an Order yourself only while it is still in the "New" status (before it has been accepted for processing) from the My Orders page. Once an Order has been accepted, it can no longer be self-cancelled and must instead be handled as a return after delivery, as described above. 9. Non-Delivery & Return to Origin (RTO)

If a courier is unable to deliver your Order after multiple attempts and it is returned to our warehouse (RTO), we will contact you to arrange re-delivery. If re-delivery is not possible, a refund will be processed to your original payment method (or bank transfer, for COD Orders), minus any shipping charges already incurred, in line with our Shipping Policy.

10. Return Shipping Charges

Reverse pickup for eligible returns (wrong item, damaged/defective, or quality issues) is free of charge. Where a reverse pickup is not serviceable at your address, you may be asked to self-ship the item to our warehouse, and reasonable shipping costs will be reimbursed with your refund on approval.
